So I have a friend and she was having a birthday...
AND
she really loves pizookies
*locally we get them at BJ's Restaurant--they are basically a giant cookie baked in a deep dish pan with ice cream and syrup on top!
AND
I wanted to give her something unique and out of the ordinary
BUT
something that I knew she would LOVE and ENJOY!
Let me introduce you to the...
Pizookie Basket
Here's what you will need to create your own:
* 4 pack of oven safe ramekins HERE
* 1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream
*chocolate chip cookie dough (store bought or homemade)
* chocolate syrup & caramel syrup
Of course the possibilities are endless...
-peanut butter cookie dough, vanilla ice cream & a can of whipped cream
-oatmeal raisin cookie dough, vanilla bean ice cream & hot fudge sauce
What other possible creations can you think of?
My favorite to eat is the Cookies & Cream one, but not sure how to recreate that one!
My mouth is watering!
I love Pizookies! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteSo my favorite dessert ever! If you want to use an actual iron pan like the restraunts use, at any outdoor store (in the hunting area) you can pick up an iron pan that is used just for making pizookies. Either large for family sized or individual for yourself. Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteI've never had one but now I really want to try one! See you all tomorrow at the big party :)
ReplyDeleteSounds really good and what a fun gift idea too.

Oh my goodness! They sound yummy - how do you assemble them?
ReplyDeleteWe have a similar fave dessert in a restaurant here we call a "skookie" a little cast iron skillet full of warm cookie piled with ice cream and chocolate syrup! Love this basket idea!
ReplyDeleteI love pizookies! I leave the eggs out of the cookie dough when I make them so I don't have to worry about under cooking them.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely going to try this next time I need a housewarming gift.
What a darling idea! How very clever! My very pregnant sister in law just had a birthday and she adores pizookies! Thanks for the inspiration! have a wonderful weekend!
