Okay, so we have some very, very exciting news to share with you guys! Our sister Charissa has finally released her book to the public!
Actually let me explain. Our sister loves to write, as you can tell from her amazing blog posts on here. She also has recently started her own writing blog called JOY IN THE MOMENTS.
For awhile now she has been working on this amazing book series. I personally know it's amazing because I'm her favorite sister and she let me read all three of the books early;)
Now for me to say it's amazing and to actually read them is saying a lot because I hate to read! In fact a favorite motto of mine is: "Who reads these days?" However, when I started her first book I couldn't put it down. Seriously I finished it in one day! Then I made her send me the other two because I had to know what happened.
Below is a little sneak peak at the book, 'EYES OF LIGHT'...
Eyes of Light
Suvi Goldstein tries to escape her past, but the whirlwinds of life pull her back into danger and intrigue as she falls for a man with secrets as deadly as her own. When disaster strikes, she once more flees from her pain and guilt. But will she ever be free from the darkness that binds her? Can she ever forgive herself for what happened...so that she can love again?
In Eyes of Light, three very different characters--Suvi, Austan, and James--struggle to trust, love, and survive as they search for meaning and light in their lives.
To celebrate the release of our sister's new book, we are giving away 5 FREE Eyes of Light eBooks on our site! Leave a comment telling us what e-reader you have and how many books a year you read (your guess). Make sure to LIKE us on Facebook (if you don't already), and you'll be entered in our drawing. Also, for more chances to win, hop on over to Char's blog at www.JoyintheMoments.com and leave a comment and LIKE her on Facebook (she's giving away some more). Good luck!

ReplyDeleteI read only like one book a year for myself. Would love to make it yours but I don't have an e-reader. Email?
ReplyDeleteI have an iPad. I usually use the kindle app to read. I am a spurty reader. I probably read 5-10 books a year.

ReplyDeleteLiesel, we'll count you in, because I think there is a way to download it and read on your computer.
ReplyDeleteI am a friend of Liesl 's and I really enjoy your blog. I love the variety of topics. Congrats on publishing a book! I read a lot, 25-30 adult books a year and 2-4 kids books a day to my girls. A nerd, I know, but I'm married to a librarian, so what can you expect :) I have a g-tablet I can use as a reader.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth. And I don't think you're a nerd. I think you're my new best friend. I love reading too and just wish there was more time each week to sneak in a few extra hours with a book.
