Cherry Vanilla Pudding Pie

With Thanksgiving less than 2 weeks away, we thought we would share an easy and delicious pie recipe.  This pie has always been a staple at our Thanksgiving meals.  Its one of my personal favorites.  And of course when I am asked to bring pies this is one I always bring because of how fast and easy it is and because it is a crowd pleaser:)

All you need is 3 simple ingredients:
--- graham cracker crust (you could make your own or you can be lazy like me and just buy it)
--- Vanilla Instant Pudding (4.6 oz)
--- Canned cherries (21 oz)

Prepare your pudding according to the box's directions.  Once the pudding is mixed up you can fold in some whip cream to give it a little extra sweetness or you can just pour it into the crust.

Let the pudding set up for a few minutes.

Once you are ready to serve you can pop open the cherries and pour them over the pudding.  And then you have yourself and quick, easy and delicious pie.
Of course my boy wanted to get in on the picture.  Not sure where the double peace sign came from (the things kids learn at school) but he looks handsome none the less, even in his mismatched jammies.

Thanks for linking up to Fun Stuff Fridays with us! This pie looks so good! My mom always makes a super simple chocolate pudding pie topped with cool whip for our holiday get-togethers.
